Ruth, born and raised in Dunedin, has always had a passion for drawing. She attended the Dunedin School of Art and later moved on to freelancing, where she drew houses for real estate companies to use in advertisements in the local newspaper.
After a significant break in a different field, she has recently returned to drawing.
Ruth has created a Oamaru-themed card, along with prints featuring a collage of the towns iconic historic buildings.
Ruth chooses to use black ink on quality white paper, exploring various pen nib sizes to achieve precision, depth, and contrast.
